It’s time that we addressed your ego.
Okay, maybe not yours.
We aren’t that acquainted yet. (Click here to fix that, though. Cough, cough.)
But I want to talk about egos in a general sense.
Specifically, today I want to talk about how many entrepreneurs get their egos tangled up in their marketing efforts.
They start anxiously tracking metrics.
They look at their likes, views and comments, as if those are the only important things.
Those entrepreneurs may even beat themselves up over bad results, or see it as a personal failure.
But I have news…
They’re tracking the wrong sh*t.
Instead of overanalyzing their view count and keeping their fingers crossed, hoping their Next Big Idea will go viral, they need to focus on what’s more important.
They need to set their sights on the bigger picture.
And they need to ask themselves something:
How many qualified prospects have you gotten from your efforts?
That’s what matters.
Because as long as you find people who want to engage with you, you’re doing well!
Even if you’re only reaching ten people with every video, all it takes is one person contacting you and referring you to their friends to make a significant impact.
So, next time your ego starts to get puffed up, I urge you to take a step back and change your perspective.
Focus on being consistent.
That means showing up day after day, bringing value to your audience and serving them as best you can.
In the long run, that’ll produce far more tangible results than focusing on views, likes and comments.
And I want to see those results (because I want to see you succeed. I want to see you win).
Better yet, I want to help ensure that your efforts are successful with more lessons like this.
All you have to do is click here to chat with me.
To your success,
