In my own words I’ll be compiling a glossary of terms that I use in my posts over the next year. I probably should have started this originally but I’ll be working to fill it out as we go along now. These aren’t necessarily the exact technical terms or Websters definitions but they are focused on helping you understand what I think the term means or at least how I understand and use it here. I will link to Merriam-Webster and also Wikipedia after my definitions though so that you can get a thorough overview of the term from other sources as well. Thanks for reading!
A
Accounts Receivable: The money that’s owed to your or your company. Unpaid invoices. For instance, you design a logo and deliver it to your customer, and then you send them an invoice for $250.00. They don’t pay it immediately and it’s been a week since you sent it. You now have $250.00 in Accounts Receivable sometimes called AR. On Wikipedia: Accounts Receivable. On Meriam-Webster: Accounts Receivable.
